Our History
Latin Women Entrepreneurs in Indiana (ELI) was born in 2016 with a deep conviction: every woman deserves a prosperous, free and dignified life, and entrepreneurship is a powerful tool to achieve it.
We began as a small group of women sharing experiences, challenges, and dreams. Over time, that conversation grew into a vibrant community of hundreds of entrepreneurs, businesswomen, educators, and allies committed to change.
Today, ELI is a comprehensive ecosystem that combines quality business training, personalized strategic mentoring, access to collaborative networks, and funding opportunities. But beyond the programs, we are a family of women who understand that success is not built in isolation.
We have supported women from the initial spark of an idea to the launch and growth of formal businesses. We have seen businesses transform, families prosper, and communities strengthen as women achieve economic independence.
Our work extends beyond the business sphere. We believe in holistic development: emotional, professional, financial, and community-based. Therefore, our programs address not only the technical skills of entrepreneurship, but also leadership, self-esteem, resilience, and building networks of mutual support.
Our Mission
To inform, connect, train and empower entrepreneurial people with a special focus on women from diverse communities so that they can develop sustainable businesses, achieve economic independence and generate a positive impact in their community.
Our Vision
To be recognized as a leading community in promoting purpose-driven entrepreneurship, fostering holistic independence, productive well-being, and social transformation through education, mentorship, and collaboration
