ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM FOR LATIN WOMAN
A program designed for Latina women, created in 2023 with the purpose of offer women the opportunity to use their experiences, talents, skills and interests in achieving your personal and professional growth here in the state of Indiana.
Walking Together! It is a comprehensive program that encompasses various components of development and economic empowerment such as:
• Education,
• Employment,
• Development of micro businesses and
• Special training events.
The majority of Latina women are more likely to live with limited resources economically compared to women from other minority groups. Sometimes they lack the education, experience and skills, even the self-confidence, to seek their economic self-sufficiency. Latina immigrant women have immense potential to improve their economic situation and that of his family becoming an agent of change for his community.
Walking together! plays an important role in inspiring, empowering and educating Latinas, offering them the resources and education they need to achieve their economic self-sufficiency.
